Scott began working with his father-in-law, Roger Legault, who had been a skilled carpenter and stair builder all his life.

Apprenticing with a small company allowed Scott to not only absorb the skills required to become an expert craftsman himself, but also taught him to value the reward of a job well done.

Upon taking over the business from Roger, Scott expanded the business to meet the demands of the changing home market. Today, Scott Berwick Stairs Inc. employs 15 full-time skilled craftsmen and is committed to deliver quality products.
